You've see your children's talents develop and become more polished. You can nurture their skills through advanced study, elevating their proficiency so they can express music creatively and spontaneously.
Building on the skills and musicality developed in the Junior Music Course, Junior Extension Course (JXC) capitalizes on the physical, mental and emotional development of 6-7 year olds.
Ages: 6-7
Qualifications: Graduate of the Yamaha Junior Music Course
Course length: 2 years
Class schedule: One 55-minute class per week

Builds keyboard technique and music reading skills.
Nurtures musical sensitivity so that it becomes an integral part of your child's performance.
Encourages self-expression by providing opportunities for musical creativity.

Upon Completion of the Course
Once your child has completed the Junior Extension Course, they continue with Junior Advanced Course. As the children develop more advanced musical skills, they are also encouraged to express themselves by performing and composing their own music through programs like Junior Original Concert.
