Thousands of students have found their musical path at Yamaha Music Schools. At YMS Boston, our faculty of professional musicians and educators create a rich partnership to help each student grow and develop. Whether a student is working on developing skills for a preparatory or college program or just studying for fun, our private instruction focuses on excellence in a positive, supportive atmosphere.
For ages 8 through adult, lessons can build skills in a variety of musical styles-classical, popular, jazz and gospel. Regular feedback sessions are available, and all students can perform in school recitals.
All of our new students meet with one of our teachers for a trial lesson to discuss goals and interests.
- 30 minute lesson: beginners
- 45 minute lesson: intermediate
- 60 minute lesson: advanced
Enrollment is accepted at any time on a rolling basis, based on teacher availability. Most lesson times are late afternoon through evening, Monday through Friday and on Saturday and Sunday (piano).
