About Our Voice Teacher
Elizabeth Sterling, Voice
An active performer and teacher in the Boston area, soprano Elizabeth Sterling was most recently seen in the role of Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance) with the MIT Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and as Bat/The Numbers in the Emerald City Opera Artist Institute’s production of L’Enfant et les Sortileges. As a soprano soloist, Ms. Sterling has been featured in works such as Handel’s Messiah, Fauré’s Requiem and Vivaldi’s Gloria (RV 588). Ms. Sterling completed her Masters of Music in Voice Performance at the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where she received the Amabassador Assistantship. She received her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from Baldwin-Wallace College (now University), where she graduated magna cum laude. In addition to teaching at the Yamaha Music School of Boston, Ms. Sterling also works as the Soprano Soloist and Section Leader at the United Congregational Church of Needham, and teaches Semi-Private Voice Lessons at the Tufts University Community Music Program.
